Description
The AIALIK GLACIER is a glacier part of Kenai Fjords National Park in the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. It drains the Harding Icefield into Aialik Bay along with many other glaciers. The icefield is also one of four remaining icefields in the United States and is the largest icefield contained entirely within the United States. The glacier is a little about 15 miles from Seward, is the largest glacier in Aialik Bay. While fairly stable, the glacier calves most actively in May and June.
